Is it for real????

I came across this video that sent me on a thinking spree. Its a beautiful video about getting married and growing old together. I know its sounds really cliched but its such a beautiful feeling to have someone by your side all your life. Someone who makes you feel loved and pampered. Someone who makes your life worth living.

Its not about being the best looking couple or having all the luxuries of life, but its about making every moment count.

To have a love so strong that u feel close even if you are not together. Its not about being perfectly compatible but to understand the flaws and still loving the person to the core.

Its not about never fighting but to fight and still get over it in a jiffy just coz u are too scared to lose even moment of love.

Its about knowing each other so well that if one says the other speaks, not having to say anything some times still having the best conversation.

Its not about the PDAs but to have the innate passion forever.

To have a family, grow old together and lead the beautiful journey of life, facing all the obstacles together and sharing every joy together.....With a soul mate as your life partner:)
Cheers to a love like this....I wish everybody finds a love like this at some point of time in life and if u did find it, don't ever let it go :)

Pls check out this video...Its worth a watch :)

When i walked away from you.....

My eyes welled up with tears, i heard a breaking sound inside, that was my heart being shattered, my hopeas and dreams being crashed when u said u don't love me and u never will....I pulled myself together & promised myself i will not love you anymore....heart in heart i knew that will never happen...cause i knew love only after i met you....i loved my life only after i met you....And i know i know heartbreak afetr i met you....
Every time i heard of love i thought about you.....Every time i felt pain i thought about you....I wanted to be your life coz you were mine....Turned out you never felt anything and that left me numb with pain.....
That moment when my heart ripped apart, my world  came crashing down, my soul died, when i walked away from you....But today i am smiling for you..laughing with you, pretending i dont love you...maybe i don't...thats because i died inside, when i walked away from you.....

Expressing our patriotism

In the era of social networking and sms blasts, we are at the luxury of expressing anything anytime. Status updates, tweets, changing your display pictures to the tricolor, use the send to all option in your cell phones.....i can go on and on. I indulged in this expression of patriotism 2 days in a year myself until i realized that i have done nothing for my country yet.
Is desh ka kuch nahi ho sakta ??? Sach hai. Jab tak is desh ke logon ka kuch nahi ho sakta.....
We had the sense of patriotism till the time we were in schools. Singing the national anthem and the national song of india (how many of you reading this know the difference and who wrote them??) everyday. We studied our history for almost a decade, was it only restricted to our exam papers?? Did anything ever touched our souls??? Did the rich heritage of our nation destroyed by the British invoke anger??? Did the freedom struggle moisten our eyes ??? Did our heart wept for the freedom fighters who lost their lives to ensure we breathe the air of freedom today???
Now that we are grown ups, we are expected to be understanding patriotism on another level. The attitude of  "jugaad", "ho jaayega", "karva lenge","politics toh gutter hai", "government chor hai", "ek aadmi se kya fark pad jaayega" ?????????????????? How many of us actually go out of our way to keep our cities clean??? How many of us actually go the legal way??? or even the morally right way??? How many of us actually respect the public properties??? How many of us actually vote??? I never did and i plead guilty. I bet my last penny that still many of us don't know who the President is, the first citizen of the nation.
Wearing indian attires on theses days, playing mere desh ki dharti in blaring decibels is not patriotism. Distributing flags and then throwing them like garbage when the day comes to an end is not patriotism. Sending messages about changing our nation is not patriotism.

How many of us actually know our nation? How many of us actually are patriots???

When she is thinking about him....

This morning she woke up with gorgeous smile on her face. She looked at her phone hoping for a text from him but there wasn't any. Yet the smile stays, she gets up to primp for the day. Her face has a magical glow, she was in love. He didn't knew anything about how she felt. But being in love was the best feeling in this world for her. She feels funny changing 1000 different outfits and thinks why am i being so picky, its not like I am out to meet him. She is finally dolled up and she steps out. She is always admired and adored by her dear ones, yet she feels neglected. She only felt beautiful if he said she was looking good. She would get butterflies in her tummy whenever he complimented her.

In the midst of zillion things to do in a day, one thing is always stuck to her mind. Wondering how his day is going. When she eats she wonders if he has eaten yet. Maybe i should call him up once, she thinks over about 10 times, even dials a couple of times but she couldn't call him. She didn't want to disturb him as she really cared about his work. She gets distracted by her own commitments for the day and forgets about him. She gets done for the day and wonders if she should call him just for a couple of mins to say hi, yet again she couldn't.

The evening merrily passes away with her friends or family where he is still there at the back of her mind. As the day comes to an end she starts missing him, she wants to talk to him, she doesn't wanna seem clingy so rather waits for him to call her. And he does. The cell phone never was so dear as his name flashed on her screen. She calms down and waits for a couple of mins. She picks up to say hi in the most nonchalant way she could. Her day is now complete, she got what she was waiting for, and that was all she wanted. She smiles and blushes on the most frivolous things he says, yet it is special for her. She wants the time to stop where she could hear him forever. He wants to hang up, it breaks her heart a little yet she says goodbye with a smile. She wanted to say she love him but she couldn't. A tiny teardrop rolls down her cheek as she goes to sleep hoping she can muster up the courage some day. That is how her day goes when she is thinking about him...........

Auto ride in Pune

The beautiful and clean Pune had one of the breeziest days today. Rains drizzling generously, chilly winds, the perfect weather for a bike ride. Obviously I wasn’t fated for it as bikes and scooters were a taboo in my family(its true). I approach an auto driver and there he starts, quoting fares which will make u want to knock the daylights of him. His mouth full of bright scarlet red gutkha, yelling at me (Pune auto guys actually do that L), I was expecting for a sararara maari pichkaari any moment. He raises his voice and declares his supremacy by saying ke miadam petrol eighty phive rupees haai na and haavey pe kuthe seat bhetel(which means petrol is 85rs/litre and highway pe kaha seat milega). And I yell kab se ha ???? kab se???? aaj ke paper mein tumne dekha kya 85 rs/litre???? Forgetting that nothing could ever make sense to this chap. So I settle for na tumhara na mera price which is actually 20% more than what you are actually supposed to pay. So he is happy, giving a mental high five to fellow auto drivers who btw contributed well to the petrol price debate. 5 mins later he keeps asking me to direct him, saying miadam ikde tropphic aahe na , I felt like saying, toh main chalau kya re baba???? And to add to my woes he kept spitting out every 5 mins, (probably he had a refill thing inside :-/ )The breeze directed the gutkha bomb every where and I kept dodging it like I was playing paintball. He reaches me on time to the station, I pay him and he says thiank you miadam as I see my crisp & fresh from the ATM 100 rs note being tucked away with the packets of gutkha bomb. And I stand there realizing I could have taken the bus instead, much cheaper, convenient and clean mode of transport.
